A Modern Library Overview:
The library boasts a ‘complete’ collection, although some books are ‘slightly outdated.’ For your convenience, there are ‘free storage lockers’ available in the lobby on the first floor.
On the second floor, you’ll find the ‘Chinese and foreign newspapers and periodicals reading area,’ catering to a wide range of reading interests. The third floor is dedicated to ‘permanent exhibitions or special exhibitions,’ offering a dynamic cultural experience.
The fourth floor serves as the ‘book lending hall,’ where books can be borrowed using an ordinary borrowing card. Each visitor has an ‘individual desk’ equipped with a desk lamp and a socket, a ‘quite considerate’ touch for a comfortable reading experience.
The fifth floor houses the ‘reference materials reading room,’ while the sixth floor is the ‘Ilas system book lending area,’ where books can be borrowed using an RFID borrowing card. The seventh floor is designated as the multimedia reading area.
Beyond the seventh floor, the library extends to the eighth, ninth, and tenth floors, making it a truly ‘large’ space.
