Constructed around 1869, the Cheng Family Mansion is the former residence of the renowned modern Chinese thinker Zheng Guanying. This courtyard-style house showcases a blend of Chinese and Western architectural features. Traditional Chinese design is evident in the roof, beam structures, and various windows in the inner courtyard, while Western influences can be seen in the treatment of indoor ceilings, styles of door and window lintels, cornices, and the exterior plastering.
