Dongli Lake, a man-made reservoir also known as Xindihe Reservoir, is located in Dongli District, Tianjin, China. The scenic area spans 58.6 square kilometers, with a water surface area of 8 square kilometers. The circumference of Dongli Lake is 12 kilometers, and it holds a water capacity of 22 million cubic meters, earning the nickname ‘Freshwater Little Ocean’. The scenic area is home to hundreds of thousands of birds that live and reproduce here.


Dongli Lake is open all year round, with operating hours from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM from Monday to Thursday, and from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM on Fridays, weekends, and public holidays. Ticket redemption hours are from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
