Dong Zhao Mountain Guan Di Temple originates from the Ming De Hall founded in 1951 by Kaohsiung Wenfang Society, and was relocated to its current site in Xiaoping Village, Dashu Township, where it was completed in 1990. The temple primarily worships the golden statue of Guan Sheng Di Jun, along with the God of Wealth and other deities. Inside the hall, dozens of portraits depicting the deeds of Guan Gong are displayed, making it feel like reading a history of the Three Kingdoms. Moreover, the 36-foot-tall statue of Guan Gong standing on the incense guest building exudes a majestic presence. Xiaoping Village, with its elevated terrain and excellent views, offers a panoramic view of Kaohsiung city on clear days. The green tunnel road in front of the temple is also a refreshing retreat from the heat, beloved not only by worshippers but also by cyclists. The temple is open all year round from 5:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
