The Dunhuang Digital Art Museum is located at Haitai Avenue, Huayuan Industrial Zone, Binhai High-tech Zone, Tianjin. It is a high-tech digital art museum introduced by the Binhai High-tech Zone of Tianjin and a key cultural tourism scenic spot. It is also a high-tech digital art museum themed on Dunhuang culture and heavy-color art in North China. The Dunhuang Digital Art Museum takes Chinese Dunhuang heavy-color culture and the Dunhuang heavy-color art of master Chen Youbai as the core, and high-tech digital multimedia technology as the feature.
It aims to promote Chinese characteristics, create a new Dunhuang flying apsaras heavy-color culture, enrich Tianjin’s cultural and tourism life, and introduce Dunhuang heavy-color culture and art to thousands of households. The Dunhuang Digital Art Museum covers an area of 1000 square meters and is divided into three major areas: main exhibition area, leisure area, and office area. The main exhibition area is further divided into characteristic areas such as preface, Mountain and Sea series, Flying Apsaras series, immersive experience hall of Mountain and Sea mythology, gallery of Mountain and Sea mythology, and painting area. Using advanced high-tech digital techniques, it presents the Chinese Dunhuang heavy-color culture and the charm of Dunhuang heavy-color art of master Chen Youbai in a panoramic way, providing tourists with a unique digital immersive experience. The leisure area is equipped with COSPLAY, cultural and creative product hall, coffee shop, handicraft making, etc., providing tourists with a place for punching in, entertainment, and leisure. Tourists can make their own works by hand and taste the unique ‘Mountain Ghost Coffee’ specially customized for tourists by the art museum, experiencing the fun of the combination of art and life. The overall planning of the art museum connects local corridors and is winding and secluded, making maximum use of space. Within a limited space, it creates a rich and colorful spatial hierarchy and artistic atmosphere.
