Er Bao Rui is one of the representative figures of contemporary Chinese wax art, and has been awarded the title of ‘Master’ by UNESCO. He has successfully created a series of significant technological processes that have brought the texture and life-likeness of wax figures to an unprecedented level. Over the past three decades, Er Bao Rui has been invited to create over two hundred wax figures of great and famous people for important museums and memorial halls across the country.
The wax figures displayed in the Er Bao Rui Wax Art Museum include ‘Political Leaders’, ‘Military and Political Heroes’, ‘Scientific Elites’, ‘Entertainment Stars’, ‘Sports Champions’, ‘Cultural and Artistic Celebrities’, and ‘Entrepreneurs’. The museum also features new figures representing the ‘Belt and Road Initiative’, making it one of the highest international level wax art exhibitions to date. Opening hours are from 09:00 to 18:00 all year round.
