Following the National Day holiday, many HR professionals are likely tasked with organizing team-building activities. Today, we’re excited to share a fantastic team-building destination in Shanghai: Changxing Island. For those who wish to stay within the city yet immerse in nature, consider Changxing Island for an island cycling tour.
**Transportation:**
Changxing Island is conveniently located just an hour’s drive from the urban area, offering easy transportation and ample parking facilities.
**Cycling Guide:**
– **Renting Bicycles:** Head to Lehuo Camp, located at Gate 2 of Changxing Island Country Park. They offer a variety of bicycles for rent, including ladies’ bikes, children’s bikes, mountain bikes, and tandem bikes, all at different price points.
– **Cycling Route:** Each stop has a positioning marker. The route starts at Changxing Island Country Park, proceeds through a tree-lined avenue, passes by a rice field windmill, continues to Hengsha Fishing Port, then to Qincaosha Reservoir, The First Beach of the Yangtze River, and finally loops back to Changxing Island Country Park. The entire loop is 15 kilometers long.
– **Experience:** Cycle around the island to take in the scenic views. Roam along the sea embankment of the small island and traverse country roads, all while enjoying the sea breeze. In the sunny autumn, this experience is incredibly pleasant. Engage in activities such as taking photos, beachcombing, and watching the sunrise, sunset, and evening glow. A casual snapshot here could easily become a blockbuster.
– **Additional Attractions:** Visit the shooting location of ‘Cry Me a Sad River’ for a unique check-in experience. It’s also the perfect season for picking oranges, with orange trees laden with fruit visible all over the island.
