The former residence of Gong Xinzhan is the former residence in Tianjin of Gong Xinzhan, a political figure of the Anhui clique, director of the Anhui Department of Finance, acting premier and minister of finance of the Beiyang government, president of the Industrial Bank of China, general manager of Qixin Cement Company, general director of Yaohua Glass Company, and chairman of the board of directors of Kailuan Mining Bureau.


It is located on the former Edinburgh Road in Tianjin, now No. 64, Chongqing Road, Heping District. The former residence of Gong Xinzhan borders Changsha Road in the east, Chongqing Road in the south, Guilin Road in the west, and Chengdu Road in the north. The building area is 936 square meters. It consists of two buildings, front and back. The back building is a three-story brick-concrete western-style building with a basement.


The top is flat and equipped with guardrails. The building facade is a fair-faced wall. In the middle of the first floor of the building, there is a high-rise eave entrance hall. Above the entrance hall is a balcony with guardrails. The building forms its own courtyard. At present, the old residence is a historical style building of general protection level and an important part of the modern building complex in the Five Avenues of Tianjin.
