Shiing-Shen Chern’s former residence is located in the eastern part of Nankai University’s campus, constructed in the 1980s to welcome the return of alumnus Shiing-Shen Chern to teach at Nankai. It is also known as Ningyuan, named after Mrs. Zheng Shiding, the wife of Mr. Chern. The site is open to the public all day long.
