Jiawo World is an educational hub centered around agricultural research and learning. In line with project development plans, it integrates the primary, secondary, and tertiary industries to establish an agricultural research and education system framed by ‘large-scale agriculture, small-scale agriculture, and agricultural science popularization’, closely merging agriculture with education. It pioneers the domestic cultural education 3.0 model, filling the gap in the agricultural, food education, and labor education courses in the domestic primary and secondary school examination-oriented education system.
Jiawo World Park consists of the Food Era Pavilion, Jiawo Center, Permaculture Workshop, Agricultural Technology Museum, and entertainment and life supporting services. The park is integrated with digital and interactive devices, real-life presentations, and expansion training to conduct popular science, teaching, and drills, accurately interpreting the scenes needed for the ‘work, study, research’ educational system, allowing children to achieve deep experiences and all-round growth. A professional faculty team empowers Jiawo’s agricultural research and education, helping to build a unique and internationally-minded curriculum system, which includes online mini-programs for labor education, ecological classrooms, one-meter vegetable gardens, labor education research cards, agricultural research camps, competitions, and more than 20 series. It also divides levels according to school age and scientifically equips more than 100 themed courses to guide students to actively explore new methods and paths of knowledge acquisition. Opening hours are from 09:30 to 17:00 all year round. Preferential policies for children: Free for those under 1.0 meters (excluding); children’s tickets for those from 1.0 meters (including) to 1.5 meters (including). Elderly: Free for those aged 70 and above. Veterans: Discounted tickets with valid identification.
