The Langfang Thousand Lantern Festival is a lantern show event jointly held in Anci District, Langfang City. It aims to promote the integration of culture and tourism and continue the Chinese cultural context. This year’s ‘Thousand Lantern Festival’ will integrate modern technology and artistic innovation, showing the harmonious coexistence of traditional culture and modern culture. With the goals of helping the tourism development conference, promoting the integration of culture and tourism, inheriting intangible cultural heritage, and creating urban vitality, it forms an urban ‘atmosphere of fireworks’ enjoyed by the people.
The temporary exhibition area of the ‘Thousand Lantern Festival’ covers about 400 mu. According to the actual situation of Yulong River, it is divided into seven lantern group illusion zones: ‘Langfang with Joy’, ‘Prayer Corridor’, ‘Only This Green’, ‘Fantasy Mountains and Seas’, ‘Ocean Fantasy’, ‘Ancient Secret Realm’, and ‘Future Dimension’. Especially near the spherical screen of Yulong River, 3D water curtain holographic projection is combined with night lighting to show the beauty of the integration of space, culture, art, and technology. There are often multiple themed consumption areas on site, such as interactive experience area, food culture area, cultural market, agricultural and sideline products area, housing sales area, light and shadow show performance, intangible cultural heritage exhibition and so on. Opening hours: From September 13th to November 17th, 18:00 – 23:00. Preferential policies: Children: Children under 1.2 meters (excluding) in height (must be accompanied by an adult) are free; children between 1. 2 meters (including) and 1.5 meters (including) in height must be accompanied by guardians when entering the park. Discount tickets. Elderly: Elderly people aged 75 years (including) and above can enter the park for free with their ID cards; elderly people aged 65 (including) to 75 (excluding) years old can enter the park with discount tickets with their ID cards. Military personnel: Active-duty military personnel can enter the park for free with their certificates; police officers, veterans, and on-duty firefighters can enter the park with discount tickets with valid certificates.
