On a warm and bright day, I had the privilege of joining a group of friends from various families and companies at the Lehuo Campsite (Fengxian Store) for a unique corporate family day team-building event. This gathering was more than just a simple meet-up; it was a touching of souls and a blending of emotions.
From the moment I stepped into the campsite, I was enveloped by the fresh natural atmosphere and the sounds of laughter. Sunlight filtered through the leaves, casting a warm glow on the winding paths, adding a sense of anticipation and mystery to our journey.
We were first drawn to the DIY handicraft area, which seemed like a paradise of creativity with an abundance of materials and tools. Everyone eagerly engaged in making various crafts; some crafted exquisite ceramic jewelry, while others were immersed in the world of weaving. I attempted to make a small pendant, and although the process wasn’t perfect, the sense of achievement from creating something with my own hands was incredibly satisfying.
Next, we moved to the water-based rafting activity area. After donning life jackets, we boarded the kayaks in groups and embarked on a water adventure. The lake shimmered in the sunlight, and the gentle breeze was incredibly refreshing. Under the guidance of our instructors, we learned how to maintain balance and direction in the kayaks and even participated in a fun water relay race. The laughter and cheers of the children filled the air, and at that moment, I deeply felt the harmony and joy between family and company.During lunchtime, we opted for a combination of stove-cooked tea and self-service barbecue. We sat around the stove, sipping fragrant tea and chatting, enjoying the rare tranquility and warmth. The self-service barbecue area was bustling with activity, as various ingredients sizzled and jumped on the grill, emitting an enticing aroma. We cooked our own food, savoring a feast for our taste buds. The smiling faces and laughter illuminated by the firelight intertwined, making the afternoon even more warm and unforgettable.
In the afternoon, we went to the orchard for a parent-child picking activity. The orchard was filled with fruit trees and abundant produce. The children excitedly darted among the trees, selecting their favorite fruits. I picked apples with my daughter, and seeing the joy on her face, I was filled with happiness and contentment. The fruits we picked ourselves tasted especially sweet, satisfying not only our taste buds but also providing a profound experience of the beauty of nature.
As the sun set, our journey at the Lehuo Campsite came to an end. Looking back on the day, from the creative collisions in the DIY handicraft area to the thrilling challenges of the water kayaking; from the warm moments of stove-cooked tea to the sweet harvest of the orchard picking; every moment was filled with laughter and warmth. This corporate family day team-building event not only allowed us to relax and strengthen our understanding and friendship but also made us feel the warmth of family and the care of the company.
