Tianjin Lingang Economic Zone Ecological Wetland Park is one of the few wetland parks in China’s large industrial areas that focuses on water treatment and also possesses landscape effects.
This project effectively combines artificial wetlands with parks, based on the selection of native plants and landscape configuration, while fully considering the improvement of the regional water environment and the leisure needs of residents. By leveraging theories and methods from environmental science, landscape ecology, environmental economics, and management, it addresses the challenges of deep sewage treatment in industrial parks and the construction of marine ecology in coastal industrial areas.
