Longpu Xiandong is an artificial cave landscape, spanning an area of over 8,000 square meters where visitors can hold meetings, dine, and chat leisurely within the cave, making it an ideal place for summer cooling. The scenic area’s eight wonders, including the hollow cave and the hanging waterfall at the cave mouth, are truly astonishing. Although man-made, they are so skillfully crafted that they seem to have been naturally formed. The environment is serene, with cascading streams and pleasant scenery, making one feel as if in a fairyland, reluctant to leave.
Longpu Xiandong is divided into three main parts: the cave landscape, the natural ecological scenery outside the cave, and the quaint ancient village behind the cave. The tour is divided into three activity areas, with two within the cave: one for leisure and entertainment, and the other for religious tourism activities. There are 19 caves of varying sizes within the stone walls, interconnected and connected vertically, with elevators installed, making it the largest cave in Zhejiang. The entire tour within the cave is varied and safe and convenient. In this cave, you will feel both deep and mysterious, and free and easy, as if you have arrived at a fairy’s abode.
The stream at the bottom of Longpu Xiandong is made of a large, smooth, and colorful rock, with clear springs flowing out from beneath the cave. Inside the large stone dam in front lies Longyin Pond, with a magical dragon pavilion standing in the middle of the pond. There is a passage from the pavilion leading to the Dragon Palace in the pond, where a majestic and imposing statue of the Dragon King carved from white marble stands. If you wish to see the old Dragon King, you can descend from the pavilion into the Dragon Palace.
The entire year from January 1st to December 31st, the opening hours are from 07:00 to 17:30. Preferential policies include free entry for children under 1.2 meters in height (excluding 1.2 meters), and discounted entry for children between 1.2 meters (including) and 1.5 meters (excluding) in height. Seniors over 60 years old (excluding 60) with a senior citizen card are also eligible for discounts.
