The Memorial Hall of the Former Site of the CPC Central Committee’s Northern Bureau is located at No. 19 Longtai Li, Heilongjiang Road, Heping District, Tianjin. It served as the office location of the CPC Central Committee’s Northern Bureau from March 1936 to February 1937. In 1982, the site was declared a municipal cultural relics protection unit by the Tianjin Municipal People’s Government.
In September 2005, the former site of the CPC Central Committee’s Northern Bureau was opened as a memorial hall to the public. In 2006, it was announced as a municipal patriotic education base by the Tianjin Municipal Committee and the Municipal Government. In April 2011, it was designated as a national classic red tourism scenic spot. The opening hours are from Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and closed all day on Mondays.
