The Former Tianjin Printing House, initially established by British merchant Kent, was a lead type printing factory. It began printing the English version of the ‘Peking and Tientsin Times’ in 1894 and also translated foreign scientific publications and various exquisite Chinese and English books. It was a cultural institution that integrated the Reuters Tianjin Bureau, the English ‘Peking and Tientsin Times’, and more.
