The Cathedral of Our Lady of Carmel, located at the Largo de Nossa Senhora do Carmo in Taipa, was built in 1885 and underwent renovation in 1985. It is the only Catholic church in Taipa, facing the sea with beautiful scenery. The church features a park with plants, stone pavilions, and benches for relaxation, making it an ideal spot for leisure and rest.
