To the north of RuRu Pond lies the lush Cuiping Peak, with the continuous Dongxi Fuqing Ridges on either side. The pond is surrounded on three sides by rolling hills, creating a secluded natural environment. To the south, it opens up to a vast view, making it a scenic spot that is both profound and spacious, and a prime location for feng shui, where ‘earth energy’ can be gathered without obstruction. A poem describes the ambiance: ‘RuRu shifts the six senses, all five tones empty as Cuiping aligns, auspicious clouds pass through the window, and a spring pond fills the mountain with fish.’
