KK@KenKamikita has garnered a substantial following in Japan and across Asia with his covers of songs like ‘Sore ga Anata no Shiawase to Shite mo (Even If That’s Your Happiness)’ and ‘Yuragi (Sway)’. As 2024 marks his 10th anniversary since debuting, KK continues to challenge himself to match the enthusiasm of his fans. He is actively releasing new cover videos and is gearing up for a four-city Asian tour.
The tour will kick off with a Tokyo station in October, featuring a joint performance with Japanese singer Sasanomaly and CIVILIAN. Following this, he will visit Seoul, South Korea, in late October. In November, the China leg of the tour, organized by Connect Series, will include concerts in Shanghai and Guangzhou.
KK, who began as an internet singer, has been active since around 2010, coinciding with the peak of the ‘Utaite’ trend on NICONICO. He officially debuted in 2014 with his first album ‘Shinon’. Over the years, KK has become a significant figure in the Japanese music scene, with over 55 million total views on his YouTube channel, and is recognized as one of the pioneers of internet singers.
This marks KK’s first performance in China since January 2020, a gap of almost four years. Fans who have been following KK’s music since the beginning, as well as those who have recently discovered his talent, are all invited to join this special night to celebrate his 10th anniversary. The event is scheduled to start at 20:00 on Saturday, November 9th, with the actual start time subject to the venue’s schedule.
