The ‘Archive of Future Life’ is a grand multimedia art exhibition jointly created by the How Art Museum, China Academy of Art, and the CAUP Artificial Intelligence and Art Research Center of Tongji University.
The exhibition centers around contemporary hot topics such as artificial intelligence, silicon-based life, and material iteration. It explores biological forms and ecosystems in the digital world through art pieces. It offers an experience of the emotional trajectory and evolutionary process of digital life. It also investigates where the ethics and morals of human society under transhumanism will head at the intersection of the digital world and Earth’s biology.
This exploration of the infinite possibilities of future evolution between carbon-based and silicon-based life continuously breaks through the technological thresholds that the human body can reach. It causes us to ponder traditional philosophical questions once again: Who am I? Where do I come from? Where am I going? And, what am I made of?
The exhibition is open from September 28th to February 16th. Specific business hours are subject to the conditions on the day.
