The Suzhou Chamber of Commerce Museum is located at the former Quanzhou Guild Hall on Shantang Street.
It serves as a centennial exhibition of the Suzhou Chamber of Commerce, a concentrated display of Suzhou’s modern commercial culture, and a microcosm of the development of Suzhou’s modern history. Shantang Street, where the Suzhou Chamber of Commerce Museum is situated, is home to a large number of merchant guild halls, such as the Gangzhou Guild Hall, Lingnan Guild Hall, and Dongqi Guild Hall, among others.
