On the cruise ship, the first sight that greets us is the HaiMen Bridge, the largest vertical-lift highway bridge in Asia. To the east of the bridge lies the starting point of the Tanggu Binhe Cultural Sinology Grand View. The walls along the coast form the 2100-meter-long Chinese Character Grand View. Docked at the cruise ship’s front is the once-famous Eastern Princess ship, also known as the Las Vegas of the Sea. As we look ahead, we see seven military maritime police docks, also known as the 110 of the sea. Inside the dockyard, there is a vibrant Japanese-style building, where the first unequal treaty of the late Qing Dynasty was signed in a two-story Western-style building. We must remember this moment and never forget our national history.
As the cruise ship moves forward, we can see a row of red-roofed houses, which is the Tanghu South Station of the Chai Railway Line, now out of service. The Binhai New District Government plans to transform this place into a museum. Not far to the east of the station, there is a silvery shell-shaped building, which is the Binhai High-Speed Railway Station. Its opening has brought us closer to the capital, Beijing. It now only takes 58 minutes to travel from here to Beijing South Station. Adjacent to the high-speed railway station is the Tianjin Juilliard School of Music. Directly in front of the cruise ship is the Kaiqi Bridge of Xiangluowan. Passing through the bridge, we arrive at the Yujiabao Financial District and Xiangluowan Business District, which are among the largest in the world in terms of area. The unfinished bridge ahead is the Anyang Bridge, an important bridge connecting the Yujiabao Financial District and Xiangluowan Business District. We hope it will be completed and opened to traffic soon to make both sides more prosperous. After passing the Anyang Bridge, we are greeted by a three-faced Guanyin stone statue, a landmark of Chaoyin Qing. The place where our cruise ship is about to turn around is the site of the Beiyang Navy’s old shipyard, the Dahu Shipyard. The entire text is open all year round from 10:00 to 15:00.Must Read
