The Wudadao Historical Museum is a privately owned museum that houses nine exhibition halls and nearly a thousand cultural relics from the Wudadao area, authentically recreating the living scenes of people from the early 20th century who resided here. It features a teak carved flower long table transported from the UK during that era; a fireplace and antique clock from a warlord’s family; and peculiar, Western-style furniture from a century ago, among other items.
Moreover, the museum vividly recreates the interior scenes of famous mansions from a hundred years ago, with electrical switches, door latches, faucets, flooring, and bricks and tiles all being used items from the wealthy families of Wudadao.
