Lianzong Temple is located on Bao’an Street, Heping District, Tianjin. It is the only nunnery remaining in Tianjin after 1949. Although it only covers an area of one mu and one fen, the vow made by the founder, Master Jiran, when opening the mountain, ‘Monks who come are not driven away, monks who leave are not retained, and one does not ordain disciples personally’, has made the pure and strict moral style of this temple as a ten-directional jungle widely known.
This moral style has been inherited by Master Shenghui, the successor of Master Jiran, and will be preserved as the family tradition of Lianzong Temple. Opening hours: The temporary dojo and circulation office are open. The specific business status is subject to the opening situation on that day. Must-see tips: 1.
