Tianjin Zoo

Tianjin Zoo is located at the southern end of the beautiful Tianjin Water Park. Currently, there are more than 200 kinds of animals and over 3,000 individuals. Among them, national key protected animals include giant pandas, Siberian tigers, golden monkeys, takins, and red-crowned cranes, all of which are rare treasures. National second-level protected animals include red pandas, whooper swans, and lynxes, which are also rarely seen in the world.

There are also rare animals from foreign lands, such as jaguars, African lions, Asian elephants, chimpanzees, giraffes, rhinoceroses, and macaws. Tianjin Zoo is one of the large zoos in China. It is one of the top ten zoos named by the Ministry of Construction. It is also a national popular science education base and a Tianjin popular science education base. Tianjin Zoo integrates the off-site protection of wild animals, popular science education, scientific research, and leisure and entertainment.

In addition, Tianjin Zoo has become the only cartoon-style zoo in Asia, making it full of childlike fun, lively, and quite infectious, making visitors feel as if they are in a magical fairy tale.
