Tongqingli

Tongqingli is located on the east side of the northern end of Tianjin Ancient Culture Street. It was built in the late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China. It is an alley composed of four independent courtyards. There is an overpass at the alley. In the courtyard, there are two two-story blue brick buildings facing each other. They are of brick-wood structure with pitched roofs. Both the first floor and the second floor have open corridors. The facade is rich in levels. The architectural style, architectural decoration and alley layout have both Chinese traditional elements and Western architectural symbols.
