The Wang Fei Pavilion, also known as the Water Pavilion, is a traditional Chinese garden architecture featuring a single-story hip roof. It was reconstructed in the ninth year of the Tongzhi era of the Qing Dynasty (1870). Composed of three exquisitely constructed bays, the central bay extends into the water, surrounded by water on three sides and welcoming the breeze, hence the name ‘Water Pavilion’. The pavilion’s beautiful scenery often captivates birds and waterfowl to the point where they ‘forget to fly’. For specific opening hours, please consult the scenic area.
