Wansong Temple is located in the middle plate area. It was built during the Zhenguan period of the Tang Dynasty. Its original name was Li Jing’an and later changed to Weigong’an. In 1705, during the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty, when he toured here, because there were pine trees all over the mountain around the temple, he bestowed the plaque ‘Wansong Temple’. The main buildings include the Mahavira Hall, Sutra Depository, Jade Buddha Hall, Thousand Buddha Hall, Bell and Drum Tower, Mountain Gate, etc. The Camel Stone and Phoenix-Tailed Pine are extremely peculiar.

The temple has a majestic appearance and the Buddha statues are solemn. It is the first Buddhist temple in eastern Beijing. The opening hours and specific business status are subject to the opening situation on that day.
