9. Wuyi Rock Tea
Wuyi Rock Tea, growing in crevices of steep cliffs, absorbs the essence of the mountains and stones, resulting in a fresh and smooth tea liquor. This semi-fermented tea boasts a unique production technique that falls between green and black tea.
Among the many Wuyi Rock Teas, the most renowned is Da Hong Pao, named for the red edges of its leaves, reminiscent of the scarlet edges of ancient officials’ robes, symbolizing nobility and honor.
During the spring tea-picking season, farmers hand-pick the finest tender buds from these ancient mountains, carefully crafting aromatic and flavorful Wuyi Rock Tea.

10. Anxi Tieguanyin
Anxi Tieguanyin, one of China’s top ten famous teas, is an outstanding representative of oolong tea, originating from the Yao Yang Mountain area in Xiping Town, Anxi County, between 1725 and 1735.
It is a semi-fermented oolong tea, bridging the gap between green and black tea, characterized by its unique production process and flavor profile. When brewed, Tieguanyin displays a golden, amber-colored liquor that is visually pleasing.
What’s unforgettable is its natural, rich orchid fragrance and the thick, sweet taste, often described as having “rhythm,” allowing one to hear the leaves unfolding in water, creating a sense of spiritual resonance.
