In front of the tomb, visitors can find memorial tablets, stele archways, stone figures, stone horses, stone tigers, stone sheep, and crosses—each reconstructed or rebuilt later. The tombstone itself bears the inscription “Ming Xu Guangqi’s Tomb,” penned by the renowned mathematician Su Buqing.

To the east of the tomb lies a stele corridor, which features Xu Guangqi’s own handwriting, “The Biography of Xu Guangqi” written by Cha Jizu, and a portrait of Xu Guangqi, copied by Cheng Shifa. Inside the cemetery, a granite statue of Xu Guangqi stands, depicting him in official attire.

Xu Guangqi was a pioneer in the study of science in China, with significant contributions to agriculture and astronomy. After his death in 1633, he was buried near Fahua Bang, which later saw his descendants gather, forming the village known as Xujiahui.

The cemetery houses ten tombs, including those of Xu Guangqi, his wife Lady Wu, and four of his grandchildren along with their spouses. The tomb is open to visitors from 07:00 to 20:00 every day of the year.
