Yang Yide’s Former Residence, built in 1921, is located at No. 41, Nankai Erwei Road, at the intersection of Nankai Erwei Road and Nankai Erda Road in the Nankai District of Tianjin. The residence, facing south, features square and round columns on both sides of the main entrance hall, supporting an arc-shaped platform. The east and west ends of the eaves are adorned with hexagonal and circular turrets respectively.
Inside, the first floor is centered around a square hall with cylindrical pillars surrounding it. Rooms are arranged around the hall, with patterned tiles on the floor. The exterior walls have elongated windows, and the roof is eaved, with a sloped tile top, featuring attics on the front and back slopes, an eastern door, and a convenience door at the back.
