Yu Island Ocean Resort, also known as Yu Island Scenic Area, is located in the central part of the Golden Coast in Beidaihe New District, one of China’s eight major coastlines, just 30 kilometers away from the summer retreat of Beidaihe. With its superior geographical location and abundant tourism resources, it is named Yu Island because of its rich production of fish, shrimp, sea cucumber, and shellfish. The scenic area covers an area of 1800 acres (including 500 acres of water area and 1300 acres of land area), and is a comprehensive tourist resort integrating clear seas and blue skies, beach bathing, entertainment experiences, health and vacation, catering and accommodation, leisure agriculture, and sightseeing.
