The Zhou Enlai and Deng Yingchao Memorial Hall is located on the south side of Tianjin urban area, next to the famous Water Park. It is specially built to commemorate Premier Zhou Enlai and his wife, Ms. Deng Yingchao. The hall showcases the lives and revolutionary deeds of Premier Zhou and Mrs. Deng Yingchao, which is of great educational significance. The memorial hall is built in Tianjin because Premier Zhou once studied and lived in Tianjin when he was young and regarded Tianjin as his second hometown.
The memorial hall has a total of three floors. There are multiple themed exhibition halls such as the memorial hall, Zhou Enlai’s life exhibition hall, Deng Yingchao’s special exhibition hall, the imitation Xihua Hall, and Premier Zhou’s special plane exhibition hall. Through texts, photos, statues, wax figures, restoration of venues, and items used by the two during their lifetimes, the revolutionary deeds of Premier Zhou and his wife are displayed. Many tourists will specially come here to visit and pay tribute to the great deeds of the two. In addition, some temporary exhibitions are often held in the memorial hall. If you catch up with them, you can visit them together. Opening hours: Tuesday to Sunday throughout the year, open from 09:00 to 16:30; closed all day on Monday throughout the year. Closed on Mondays (festivals are arranged separately). From July 19 to August 31, 2024, every Friday and Saturday, the closing time is extended from 16:30 (entry stops at 16:00) to 18:30 (entry stops at 17:30).
