The Kaohsiung Tower of Literature is located in Xiaogang District, Kaohsiung City. The building features the character ‘Gao’ as its main design element. It is situated only six meters away from the ocean and is currently one of Taiwan’s exhibition halls closest to the sea, adding a touch of artistic and cultural atmosphere to the bustling Kaohsiung Harbor.
On the first floor of the tower, there is a special exhibition area where creations from various artists and art workers are displayed. The seasonal exhibition area introduces different themed exhibitions with each season. Additionally, due to its location at the cape of the harbor, the tower is surrounded by the sea on three sides, offering an excellent viewpoint. Visitors can watch ships frequently entering and exiting the harbor while enjoying the salty sea breeze brushing across their cheeks, providing a very leisurely experience.
Opening hours are Monday-Tuesday and Thursday-Friday from 16:00 to 20:00; Saturday-Sunday from 11:00 to 21:00 throughout the year.
