The Yilan Art Museum has a Japanese-style wooden structure and stone-tiled roof. The architect disassembled and reconstructed it with original cypress wood, retaining the original historical characteristics. The architect reconstructed the art museum with original cypress wood. In addition to retaining the characteristics of the original historical building, it also combines the new glass structure of the art museum to present a new look of the art museum with the atmosphere of old streets and old shops in Kyoto, Japan.
