The Eight Immortals Cave is famous for its geological landscapes and prehistoric sites. It has a unique sea erosion cave landscape and belongs to the pre-pottery culture of the Paleolithic age. It is about 30,000 years ago and has been designated as a national archaeological site. Dozens of naturally formed sea erosion caves in the Eight Immortals Cave are named after the legend of the Eight Immortals crossing the sea. These caves were originally on the sea surface. Due to the land uplift of the east coast crust and the erosion of sea waves, the softer parts of the rock wall are eroded to form caves.
