Chaozhou Chaolin Palace is a joint temple of Silin, Sichun, and Lundongli, listed as a historical site in Pingdong County. Originally a Chen family ancestral hall, in 1909, three Chen surnamed families donated land for temple construction, obtaining permission from Aogu Prefecture Chief Sasaki Ki. The overall layout of the architecture is of a courtyard style, with symmetrical side rooms on either side of the main hall, featuring swallowtail ridges and horseback shapes on top. The exterior differs from typical temple configurations because the building was originally an ancestral hall.
