Wankengtou Mountain is located at the border between Gongliao Township, New Taipei City and Toucheng Town, Yilan County. It is roughly in the middle position between Taoyuan Valley and the pass of Caoling Ancient Trail. The hiking trail between Taoyuan Valley and the pass runs along the mountain ridge.
