Yu San Guan is one of the top ten ancient residences, a well-known historical mansion in the area, and was established in the 11th year of the Tongzhi era of the Qing Dynasty.
At the end of the Qing Dynasty, the 15th generation of the Chen family, Chen Youguang, began constructing the grand mansion, which took seven and a half years to complete. Apart from some recent repairs to the outer walls, the main structure remains in its original Qing Dynasty form, which is quite rare. The mansion faces west and is oriented towards the east, symbolizing the coming of auspicious energy from the east. It features a three-compound courtyard layout with a pond and a gate tower in front. It is open to the public all year round, from Tuesday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM.Yu San Guan
