The Tongxiao Shrine is adjacent to Hutou Mountain Park. When it was established, it belonged to Hutou Mountain, Tongxiao Zhuang, Miaoli District, Hsinchu Prefecture. The main deities enshrined are Amaterasu Omikami and Prince Kitashirakawa Yoshihisa. After World War II, part of the worship hall was converted for use as the Tongxiao Town Martyrs’ Shrine. At present, its park still preserves the main facilities such as torii gates, worship halls, approach paths, and shrine offices.
