This hiking trail serves as a convenient path from An-Keng to Zhonghe’s Hong-Lu-Di area. In addition to visiting the NanShan FuDe Palace, one can also ascend to the NanShiJiao Mountain. At the end of Chai-Ching Road, the trailhead is located next to an open space. Ascend on the wooden sleepers and earthen steps, and after approximately five minutes, you will join a path paved with granite slabs. The old mountain trail intersects with the slab path at least seven or eight times. Only after passing the Xinyuan and Hualian Pavilion does the trail become uphill. After climbing a steep section of wooden sleepers and earthen steps, you will arrive at the Hong-Lu-Di fork. The trail is open all year round and accessible 24/7.
