The Hushu Chrysanthemum Exhibition is divided into open-air and greenhouse displays. Approximately 60%-70% of the open-air chrysanthemum varieties have bloomed, while 30%-40% of those grown in greenhouses are in full bloom.
The Hushu Chrysanthemum Garden boasts a spectacular sea of flowers with over 400 acres of chrysanthemums, featuring more than 3300 different varieties. In addition to traditional autumn chrysanthemums, rare varieties such as green giant chrysanthemums and strawberry chrysanthemums can be found here, along with dual-colored, green, and other rare market varieties. This year’s Hushu Chrysanthemum Exhibition will showcase 400 new varieties of chrysanthemums, along with the Chrysanthemum Boutique Pavilion, Colorful Rice Paradise, Modern Agricultural Technology Exhibition Hall, Dou Men Kou Blessing Tree, and the Waterfront Pathway’s 24 Solar Terms Hand-painted Wall, all making their debut. Opening hours are from October 1st to November 17th, 08:30 to 17:00; from November 18th to September 30th, the site is closed. Preferential policies include free entry for children under 1.4 meters (inclusive), half-price for students from children over 1.4m to undergraduate students, free entry for seniors aged 70 and above with ID or senior citizen card, and half-price for those aged 60 to 69 (inclusive) with valid ID.
