The University History Museum of Nanjing University covers an area of 1400 square meters, with an exhibition area of approximately 1000 square meters. Gu Yuxiu, the former president of Central University and a centenarian, inscribed the museum’s name. The museum is divided into five exhibition areas: ‘Century of University History’, ‘Today’s Nanjing University’, ‘Centennial Talents’, ‘Multimedia Demonstration’, and ‘Gift Hall’. The museum displays more than 1600 photographs, over 700 historical materials, artifacts, and models from different periods in the history of Nanjing University, nearly a hundred videos, and more than 200 gifts and inscriptions donated by alumni from home and abroad for the university’s centennial celebration. The museum is open all year round from Monday to Friday, 08:30-12:00 and 13:30-17:00. Please note the specific business status of the day for confirmation.
