The site is located in Xuanwu District, Nanjing City. It is the palace site of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom, a peasant uprising regime in the late Qing Dynasty. The existing site is composed of the West Garden and the main hall, warm pavilion, corridor and other relics. After the Qing Dynasty, the West Garden was renovated several times and still partially retains the scenery of that year, such as hexagonal pavilion, square victory pavilion, lookout pavilion and the stone arch in the artificial pool. In the pool and on the rockery of the West Garden, the stele forehead and pedestal of Hong Xiuquan’s ‘Lunyin’ stele, stone drums and other cultural relics of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom have been salvaged and discovered. Opening hours: Open from 08:00 to 17:30 all year round.
