The Lion Grove Bridge is a bridge in China that relatively early adopted the prestressed concrete cantilever technology in highway bridge construction. There are lions of various shapes on the bridge, which are lifelike. The total length of the bridge is 96.6 meters, and the spans are 24+45+24 (m). It is composed of a single cantilever beam and an 8-meter-long hanging beam. The bridge width is 2×3+18 (m).
In 1994, a new bridge was built on each side of the old bridge upstream and downstream. The width of the new bridge is 9.3 meters. The structural section is a three-span variable cross-section prestressed concrete box girder continuous beam with a span of 25.2m + 45m + 25.2m. In August 2003, the Urban Construction Group successfully implemented the overall lifting of the bridge body. The lifting height is 1. 271 meters, becoming today’s Lion Grove Bridge. Opening hours: open all day throughout the year.Lion Grove Bridge
