Tangshan Bay International Tourism Island’s numerous islands were formed by the sedimentation of the Luan River and tidal action, boasting a long history, diverse shapes, and abundant resources. Bodhi Island, covering an area of 5.07 square kilometers, is part of Hebei Province’s marine nature reserve and a provincial-level scenic spot. The island is characterized by a low center and high periphery, resembling a treasure basin, with rich freshwater resources.

It is covered with shrubs, lush grass, over 400 species of birds, more than 260 species of plants, and nearly a thousand Bodhi trees that are 300-400 years old, which are rare in the north. The natural vegetation coverage rate exceeds 98%, earning it the reputation of a ‘natural zoo and botanical garden suspended in the sea’ and an ‘international bird-watching base’. It features Buddhist relics such as the Chaoyin Temple and the ruins of Chaoyang Nunnery.

Yue Island, named for its crescent shape, spans 11.96 square kilometers and is composed of five islands including Yue Tuo, Yao Tuo, and Xi Tuo. It is a national AAAA-level scenic area with lush vegetation and unique landscapes. Surrounding it are natural beach resorts with clear water and fine sand, making it an ideal summer retreat.

Xiangyun Island has a total area of 22.73 square kilometers with a coastline of 26 kilometers. Its flat shape resembles a ribbon, with high-quality natural fine sand along the coast and a gentle beach slope. It is rich in hot spring resources. The north side of the island faces the mainland across the water, forming a rare double-coastline spectacle. The southern beach is wide, with clear seawater, making it a natural high-quality beach resort. Bodhi Island serves as a junction for bird migration between Northeast China, Inner Mongolia, Siberia, Korea, Japan, and southern regions, and is a primary bird-watching site, acclaimed as an international bird-watching base. The area is vast with dense vegetation, abundant food sources, and minimal negative human impact.

Jinsha Island, formerly known as Da Wang Gang, is located at the southern end of Xiangyun Island in Tangshan Bay International Tourism Island. It is an arc-shaped sand island composed of 11 intermittent sandbars, stretching 13.5 kilometers in length, up to 250 meters in width, and covering an area of 3.25 square kilometers. The island boasts natural high-quality fine sand, a gentle beach slope, and rich hot spring resources.
