Zhenxi Fort is a Tayal tribe settlement located in Jianshi Township, known for its high-altitude mountainous location. The Shenmu Forest is situated to the south of Jinaiji Mountain, the northwest of Ma Wang Mountain, the southeast of Bunugali Mountain, and the north of Mayang Mountain, with an elevation of approximately over two thousand meters. It is currently one of the largest primeval forests with more than 200 giant trees including red cypress and Chinese arborvitae. The area is open all year round, accessible 24/7.
