This is the ‘Lao Gongci’ at the eastern entrance of the trail, which is said to commemorate the sacrifice of an elderly beggar who gave his life for the successful completion of the Dalu water conservancy project. In front of the temple, there is the nearly century-old ‘Old Water Gate’ and the ‘Five Blessings Old Banyan Tree’. The trail is open all year round and accessible 24/7.
