Taichung Railway Station, also known as ‘Taichung Station’, was established in 1917. It is a building designed in the style of a Baroque-era post station, featuring a gabled central roof and ornate medallion decorations. The building is adorned with a richly colored white pebble belt surrounding the red brick facade, creating a harmonious blend of color and shape.

This station serves as a transportation hub in Taichung and is a popular stop for many tourists visiting the city. From here, one can board trains and buses to travel to Changhua, Nantou, and other regions. The station is open year-round from 6:00 AM to midnight.
