Zhupu Altar, originally located on Xinshi Street, was later relocated by the government to Zhongzheng Park. It has since evolved into an important site for folk rituals in Keelung.
The three-story Zhupu Altar offers a commanding view of much of the Keelung area, providing an excellent vantage point. Every year on the 15th day of the seventh lunar month, the lighting ceremony illuminates the Zhupu Altar, making it exceptionally beautiful.
It is open to the public all year round, from Tuesday to Sunday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
